June 6, 2024 (Toronto, ON) – Award-winning country artist Carolyn Dawn Johnson is thrilled to announce the release of her second single, “Stubborn Clock,” from her forthcoming full-length album, “There She Is.” This haunting track features mesmerizing vocals and ambient guitars, drawing listeners into a dreamlike experience. Carolyn’s passionate lyrics, infused with Appalachian timbres, ignite into outlaw country flames before simmering back down as pensive blue embers smoulder.

To celebrate the release, Carolyn is also unveiling a brand-new music video for “Stubborn Clock” on her official YouTube channel. The video premieres today, June 6th at 8:00PM CDT, just hours before the song’s release at midnight EDT. Fans are invited to join Carolyn for a live chat during the premiere. The song will be available on all major digital music platforms HERE.

Kicking off next week on June 13 in Abbotsford, BC, Carolyn will be joining Clint Black on the Canadian leg of his 35th Anniversary of Killin’ Time Tour. This exclusive tour will span ten unforgettable shows across Canada.

“I’m so excited to hit the road with Clint Black and share the stage across Canada on such an incredible milestone event,” noted Johnson. The tour will culminate in spectacular closing performances of both artists at Dauphin’s CountryFest.

A multi-award winner of ACM, AMA, JUNO, and CCMA accolades, Carolyn has shared the stage and studio with icons like Ashley McBryde, Miranda Lambert, and Martina McBride. A prolific songwriter, her work includes penning songs for Jo Dee Messina, Chris Stapleton, and Chely Wright.
